- This blog is dedicated to the power of the phrase "Yes,I can!" and for anyone who has ever felt that they have put their life on hold, were waiting until the right moment, pacified a partner instead of pursuing a dream, ignored their sense of thrill and adventure and mislaid their 'great to be alive' feeling. At an age when I'm old enough to perhaps know better and in the middle of the worst economic meltdown the world has ever seen, I decided to give up my job to see parts of the world that were 'on the things to do if I got the time/money/maybe one day' list. Mad or brave - you decide. I hope this will be a diary of the sights and sounds I encounter and the thoughts and feelings they stir in me. More than ever, it's a record of my dream - one I hope you will enjoy sharing with me.
